BOSTON, Mass. – James Madison volleyball stays perfect in Colonial Athletic Association action after sweeping Northeastern, 3-0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-22), Friday evening in the Cabot Center.

The Dukes (17-3, 9-0 CAA) registered their biggest margin of victory in a single set during league play after beating the Huskies (11-11, 4-5 CAA) by 16 points in the second frame.

Senior
Bryn Recker led the match with 10 kills for the only double-digit kill performance of the match. Junior
Sarah Martin registered a match-high 28 assists and matched junior
M'Kaela White with a match-leading six blocks. Senior
Tilbe Yaglioglu posted 10 digs to top the Dukes.

MATCH NOTES

Kelly Vahos hit a .375 attack percentage with eight kills on 16 attempts with only two errors.
- Martin notched no errors on her six attempts and, with four kills, posted a hitting percentage of .667.
- White achieved a new career record with four service aces against the Huskies. She's only the second Duke to tally four in a match this season. With her two assists, White set another career best.
- Yaglioglu continues to lead JMU in service aces on the season, adding two tonight. She now totals 23.

Sarah Driscoll, Recker and Martin each produced seven digs.
- The Dukes totaled 10 blocks to the Huskies' three. JMU also outperformed NU in service aces (9-2).
- As a squad, JMU managed double-digit kills in each set – 10, 10 and 15, respectively.
- This was the Dukes' fourth sweep in CAA play and eighth overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Beginning the on even footing, JMU finally pulled into a solid lead with a 6-0 run that included kills from White and Recker, a service ace from
Jacqui Koebel and two Huskie attack errors. NU couldn't recover as JMU closed out the set on a five-point run that was capped with a kill from White.
- Though the Huskies picked up the first two points of set two, the Dukes quickly gained the upper hand courtesy of an 11-0 run, which featured three of White's four aces. JMU then closed the set on with six straight points.
- The squads traded points to begin the final set with the Dukes holding the slight edge. The Huskies picked up the lead as they made it to 20 points first. At this point, JMU called a timeout and came out of the break taking seven of the final nine points and the victory.
