th time JMU would hold an opponent under 10 points in a frame this season as the Dukes led 17-4.

It would be a slow second quarter for both teams. RMU outscored the Dukes 12-6 in the frame, with six of its points coming from the charity stripe. The Dukes led by as much as 13 in the first half only to be cut to seven at the half as JMU led 23-16.

JMU started the third quarter on a 7-0 run, which was highlighted by junior guard
Kamiah Smalls tallying her 1,000
th career point. The Dukes continued to roll as Cooper-Williams hit her 23
rd career game and second straight grabbing 10-plus rebounds. The Dukes held Robert Morris to eight points in the frame, the 12
th time this season holding an opponent to 10 points or less. JMU took a 42-24 lead heading into the final 10 minutes of play.

Smalls continued to roll and with her 15 points recorded her 13
th straight game scoring 10 or more points. The Dukes went on a 9-0 run which put them ahead 54-28, their largest lead of the game. JMU held on and took the victory 57-36 to close out 2018.

Junior guard
Kamiah Smalls became the 31
st player in JMU history to join the 1,000 Point Club. She completed the feat in 78 games on
44-percent shooting from the floor (385-871). The Philadelphia, Pa. native is averaging 18.2 points per game this season.
