Dukes Dominate the Highlanders, 3-1

HARRISONBURG, Va. – On a rainy Saturday night at Sentara Park, the James Madison men's soccer team used a second half surge to defeat Radford, 3-1. The Dukes improve their record to 2-2-1 while the Highlanders fall to 0-4.
HOW THEY SCORED
28' | Freshman Amadou Diop headed in Radford's first goal of the season on a long cross from sophomore Max Angelides.
35' | From 20 yards out, sophomore Tom Judge scored the equalizer into the top right corner on a touch from junior Brandon Clegg.
69' | Junior Manuel Ferriol played a ball from midfield to redshirt senior Billy Metzler, who tripped the keeper and sailed it into the left corner.
73' | Off a corner kick taken by graduate student Yannick Franz, junior Fernando Casero found the net on a rebound off of the keeper's chest, tapping it into the right side.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Highlanders edged the Dukes in shots 10-9, but both teams took six on goal. Radford took eight corners while JMU took two. Redshirt sophomore TJ Bush made five saves and Radford's Dimitrios Valkanos made three.

-Fernando Casero and Tom Judge notched their first collegiate goals
