WHAT COACH IKE HAD TO SAY
"Great team win from the guys today. It was really important for us to score early and we were able to do that tonight in the first. Kevin was in a groove again tonight and showed why he is so tough to hit. He was able to use all of his arm slots and really made it tough for them. Shelton was locked in out of the pen and threw zeros while also striking out six straight. We will enjoy this tonight, but now it is time to rest up and get ready for another late game tomorrow."
