BOCA RATON, Fla. – James Madison Men's Soccer dropped their season opener to Florida Atlantic 1-0 on Friday evening in Boca Raton, Florida. JMU soccer falls to 0-1-0 on the season while FAU improves to 1-0-0.
FAU controlled most the match outshooting the Dukes 12-6, but the Dukes were able to collect five corner kicks on the night. Florida Atlantic took the lead in the 81
stminute when Andres Macias scored off a scrum in front of the net.
TJ Bush made five saves in the first half, adding another two in the second.
