Ferriol Scores, Dukes Fall to FIU Saturday

MIAMI, Fla. – James Madison men's soccer fell 3-1 at FIU on Saturday afternoon, falling to 0-2-0 on the season. Senior Manuel Ferriol collected his first goal of the year in the 56thminute, when Clay Obara slotted a pass to Ferriol who finished into the back of the net.
Ferriol was one of two Dukes to collect more than one shot on the evening. TJ Bush collected five saves for the second time in as many games. JMU collected eight shots in the second half and tallied 10 shots total on Saturday.
The FIU Panthers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead just five minutes into the second half. James Madison's, Manuel Ferriol, notched the first goal of the season in the 56thminute, before FIU responded late to put it away.
