HARRISONBURG, Va. - After receiving word that the James Madison men's basketball team's game against George Mason on Dec. 12 would be cancelled due to positive COVID tests in the George Mason program, the Dukes have scheduled a home-and-home series against Coppin State that will begin with a contest in Baltimore on Thursday, Dec. 10.

Tipoff will be scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon and Coppin State will return to Harrisonburg for a home game during the 2021-22 season. The Dukes and Eagles have faced each other four times in program history, with JMU holding a 3-1 advantage in those matchups.

The Dukes have a pair of home games this weekend, welcoming Maryland for a 3 p.m. contest on Saturday, Dec. 5 before Old Dominion comes to Harrisonburg for a 7 p.m. tip on Monday, Dec. 7.
