HARRISONBURG, Va. –  James Madison men's basketball fell, 64-61, to the Louisiana Rajin' Cajuns on Wednesday night at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.

Dorian Finister hit a three with 1.3 seconds left to give Louisiana (8-16, 6-6 Sun Belt) the win over JMU (11-13, 4-8 SBC). The Cajuns led by as many as 11 in the second half and withstood a JMU rally, which saw the Dukes take a 59-58 lead with 1:13 left.

Cliff Davis led JMU with 12 points, while
Kose Egbule had season-highs in points (12), rebounds (5), and assists (4).
Christian Brown had eight points and five rebounds, while
Eli Wilborn led the team with eight boards off the bench.

Dorian Finister led Louisiana with 18 points and collected six rebounds. Â De'Vion Lavergne had 14 points, while Todd Jones Jr. led the Cajuns with eight rebounds.

- JMU took an early 6-2 lead on a three-pointer in the first two minutes from tip.
- JMU went on a 10-0 run to go up after a seven-point deficit with 10:54 in the half. However, Louisiana answered with a three from Kyran Ratliff to tie it back up at 22 with 6:40 left in the half.
- Davis made his third three-pointer of the night to put the Dukes up five (32-27) before Finister made a quick mid-range to cut the Dukes' lead to three at half (32-29).

Second Half: Louisiana 64, James Madison 61
- The Ragin Cajuns went on a 15-1 run to open the second half.
- A transition layup from Bradley Douglas kicked off an 11-0 run for JMU to tie the game at 44-44 with 9:43 left.
- Six straight points from JMU tied the game at 53-53 with 6:12 left. The teams traded points before a put-back dunk from Brown gave the Dukes a 59-58 lead with 1:13 left.
- Ricks III tied the game at 61-61, but Finister hit the game-winner with 1.3 left to give the visitors the win.
