James Madison closes out its quick three-game home swing with it welcomes UNCW to the Convocation Center on Sunday. The Play4Kay game is set for a 2 p.m. tip with the game broadcast live on MadiZONE.
In its last contest, JMU shot 50 percent (11-22) from three to cruise past College of Charleston, 81-50.
Sophomore Madison Green led the way with a career-high 20 points on a blistering 6-7 (85.7 percent) from behind the arc. Green also secured a pair of rebounds and two assists in the game on Friday afternoon.
On the season, senior Kamiah Smalls paces the team dropping 18.5 points (third in CAA; 33rd in D1) shooting an efficient 41.0 percent (50-122) from behind the arc while leading the team in steals (1.7) and assists (2.6). Senior Kayla Cooper-Williams is a force defensively grabbing 9.5 rebounds per game (first in CAA; 43rd in D1) including 3.4 offensive boards and blocks a league-best 3.2 shots per game (eighth in D1).

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS

UNCW dropped its four straight game on Friday after a tough 78-45 loss against Towson in SECU Arena.
Ahyiona Vason led the way for the Seahawks as she poured in 18 points with four rebounds and two assists.
On the season, Gigi Smith drops 14.6 points per game while Lacey Suggs follows behind with 12.2 points.

SERIES HISTORY

Sunday's contest will be the 76th meeting between the Dukes and UNCW with JMU holding a 65-10 lead.
The Dukes are 33-3 against the Seahawks at the Convocation Center, winning the last 11 meetings at home.
In the last meeting on Jan. 17, the Dukes outscored the Seahawks 34-23 in the middle quarters to create enough room to earn a 66-58 win. Senior Kamiah Smalls led all scorers with 20 points and six rebounds.
