HARRISONBURG, Va.– The James Madison women's tennis team returned to its winning ways against George Mason on Sunday afternoon, claiming a 4-0 victory at the East Campus Tennis Courts.
The Dukes improved to 9-3 on the season, while the Patriots fell to 3-4. JMU notched three doubles wins and three singles wins in the triumph.
The tandem of senior
Jona Roka and sophomore
Michelle Los Arcos won 6-2 against Jackie Nannery and Isabella Daverio. Sophomores
Daniela Voloh and
Natalia Nikolopoulou extended their doubles win streak to six in a row, dropping Paige La and Hannah Yang 6-2 to clinch the doubles point.

Amanda Nord wrapped up doubles play with a 6-4 victory against Christine McCarthy and Ashley Fitz-Patrick.
The Dukes competed in three singles matches and clinched each in straight sets. Sophomore
Daria Afanasyeva earned the first win for JMU, defeating Yang 6-1, 6-1 on court two. Roka won at No. 1 singles, taking a 6-2, 6-1 decision from La to make it a 3-0 lead.
Voloh claimed her 10th singles victory in the dual season, winning over Nannery, 6-1, 6-1, to secure the team win.
