#2 James Madison (9-1, 6-1 CAA) vs. Towson (4-6, 3-4 CAA)
Saturday, November 20, 2021
Harrisonburg, Va. | Bridgeforth Stadium
The six-year seniors, who've spent their entire careers with the Dukes, have turned in an unprecedented 67-10 overall record with a 40-2 ledger at Bridgeforth Stadium and a national championship during their freshmen year.
BREAKING DOWN THE DUKES AND TIGERS
Saturday marks the 30th all-time meeting between the teams, with JMU leading 22-6-1.
In a series dating back to 1976, the two played each other in 16 of 17 seasons from 1976 to 1992 and picked back up fairly regularly in 2004 once the Tigers joined the league.
Since becoming conference foes, JMU has won 11 of 12 matchups, including four straight. Towson's only conference win vs. JMU came in 2013, the year the Tigers advanced to the national title game.
JMU is 13-1 all-time at home against Towson, with TU's lone win coming at Bridgeforth back on Nov. 7, 1981.
During the current four-game series win streak, the Dukes have averaged wins by a margin of 44.5 to 16.0.
 SEEKING DOUBLE-DIGIT VICTORIES
A win on Saturday would mark the 10th of the season for JMU and likely a first-round bye for the FCS playoffs.
Should the Dukes defeat the Tigers, it would mark JMU's seventh 10+ win season since the program began.
It would also be the Dukes' fourth 10-win season since the 2016 national-championship campaign.
 RATKE IS NCAA KICKING KING
He previously set JMU, conference and FCS records for field goals and scoring by a kicker.
On Saturday, Nov. 13, Ethan Ratke became the NCAA all-division record holder for most career field goals and scoring.
Ratke is the only kicker in college football history to make 100 field goals and score 500 points, as he currently stands at 100 makes and 517 points.
He did so making a JMU and CAA-record six field goals in JMU's 32-22 win at William & Mary.
His 517 points also ranks 3rd amongst all players in FCS history, as he needs just 28 more points for the subdivision record.
Ratke is also 18th all-time in scoring by any college football player at any division.
He also broke his own JMU and league single-season record for field goals, as he's made 28 on 30 attempts in 2021. That bested his previous record of 27 in 2019.
He has 13 career games with three or more field goals and four with 4+.
