HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison women's tennis could not continue their winning streak to start the season, falling at home to #37 Old Dominion by a score of 6-1 at Hillside Courts.

The Dukes dropped their first match of the season to move to 3-1 (1-0 CAA), while the Monarchs improved to 5-4.

JMU unfortunately could not build any momentum in its doubles matches, losing on court one by score of 6-1 and 6-2 on court two.

Daniela Voloh and
Kylie Moulin were tied on court three against Brooke Pilkington and Alexandra Viktorovic, 3-3, but the match was left unfinished once ODU secured the doubles point.

Voloh earned the lone point for JMU, winning her singles match in a super tiebreaker on court five. She rallied past Pilkington by scores of 5-7, 6-4, 1-0(5).
Amanda Nord also played strong, forcing a third set before falling on court six.
