Her intangible skills and love for volleyball will only continue the great culture we've built here at JMU. Adding Julia, the other signed student-athletes, and the incredible group we already have here at JMU will help us continue to do things never done before in our program. It is a great time to be a DUKE!"             Â

Coach Steinbrecher's Thoughts: "Emma has potential to be a stud at this level. She has a long, athletic build and can attack high above the net which is tough to defend. Her ability to attack from either pin will open up some options for us, as well. Emma is a fantastic fit for our culture with her high character and strong academic achievement. We can't wait to get her in our gym to train every day! I am stoked to add Emma to our JMU Volleyball family."
