RICHMOND, Va. – James Madison redshirt junior
Conor Hartigan earned Colonial Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week honors after his outing over the weekend, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Hartigan raised his batting average to a league-best .380 after going 8-for-11 at William & Mary, and 10-for-13 on plate appearances. He started off the weekend by setting a new career-high with four hits in the JMU 9-5 win. He then followed it up by going 4-for-7 in the doubleheader, as he reached base in his first eight plate appearances of the weekend.

The Millbrook, Va. native extended his hit streak to seven games, and collected his seventh, eighth, and ninth multi-hit games of the year, setting a team-high. He has set single season career-highs in hits (27), RBI's (17), doubles (eight), stolen bases (five), and home runs (three), and is currently on pace to set career-highs in six other categories.

The Dukes return to action this Sunday, May 2 as they welcome Saint Joseph's for a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch of game on is scheduled for 12 p.m.
