STATESBORO, Ga. – James Madison volleyball earned its tenth sweep of the season in their 3-0 win (25-22, 25-16, 25-14) over Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon at Hanner Fieldhouse.

The Dukes improved to 17-4 (11-1 SBC) while the Eagles fell to 14-8 (6-4 SBC).

Sophie Davis went 12-1-22 for a hitting percentage of .500 and
Miëtte Veldman earned a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs. Jaydyn Clemmer served a career high four aces and Carolina Dozier recorded 30 assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
The Dukes started off the match with a 7-1 run. A few more runs extended JMU's lead and allowed them to put up a 25-22 win.

Second Set
The set started off evenly, but the Dukes went on a 10-0 run helped by three service aces in a row from Clemmer to give them a 19-11 lead. The offense kept them going to give them a 2-0 lead in the match.

Thirds Set
Another strong start for the Dukes put them up 6-1. With an impressive 10-1 run, JMU took a strong lead and even though Georgia Southern ended the set with a 5-1 run, the Dukes pulled out the win.
