Holloway Tabbed CCSA Diver of the Week

ATLANTA – James Madison sophomore Alexa Holloway was tabbed the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Diver of the Week after her performance at the West Virginia Invitational, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

The sophomore helped the Dukes earn a third place finish overall at the invite.

In the 3-meter, Holloway took home the silver with an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 288.20 after advancing out of the preliminary round with another qualifying score of 281.30. She was joined by Ryleigh Rodgers from Alabama as the only divers to hit NCAA Zone qualifying scores in the 3-meter. For the 1-meter board, she recorded a score of 233.75.

Holloway and the rest of the Dukes will be back in the pool on Saturday, Dec. 3 when they host Richmond for a dual meet at Savage Natatorium. The meet will be streamed on ESPN+ with diving at 10 a.m. and swimming to follow at 12:30 p.m.
