Lauren Bernett and freshman
Lexi Rogers have earned CAA awards this week, the league announced Monday.

Bernett was named Player of the Week and Rogers was named Rookie of the Week after the Dukes swept Drexel this past weekend.

The catcher Bernett went 7-for-9 in the series, hitting .788 with seven RBIs and four runs scored. She recorded four of her seven hits in Sunday's game, including one home run. The sophomore earned a 1.444 slugging percentage and a .818 on-base percentage.

Rogers posted a .667 batting average and 1.44 slugging percentage on the weekend, hitting her first two-home run game of her career in game two against Drexel. She earned four RBI's and three runs scored to help JMU sweep the weekend series over Drexel.

The Dukes are back at home this week, hosting Longwood on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. before hosting Delaware for the weekend.
