TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – James Madison volleyball dropped its second match of the week on Friday evening, falling  3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-16) to Yale at Tully Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 while the Dukes fell to 3-2.

Miëtte Veldman led the Dukes with seven kills for the night, followed by
Annie Smith with five, hitting .714 in the match.

Yale was led by Gigi Barr who tallied 10 kills and Carly Diehl who earned all 33 of Yale's assists for the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
The Bulldogs got a quick lead in and the Dukes were unable to keep the pace.

Second Set
The second set was back and forth in the beginning, but a 7-1 run from Yale put them ahead and JMU was unable to reply.
Â
Third Set
The Dukes were able to keep up with the Bulldogs early, going up 10-9, but Yale pulled ahead and took the third and final set to win the match.

The Dukes will play their final match down in Tallahassee, Fla. at Florida A&M on Saturday at 1 pm.
