Softball Announces Fall Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison softball Head Coach Loren LaPorte announced the team's 2022 fall schedule Tuesday afternoon.

JMU will play six games total, all on the road due to construction on Veterans Memorial Park.

The Dukes will start off in College Park, Md. on Saturday, Sept. 24 to face off against Mount St. Mary's at 12:30 p.m. and Maryland at 3 p.m.

Staying close to home, JMU will play two games at neighboring Bridgewater on Sunday, Oct. 9, starting with Bridgewater at on 10 a.m. and Marymount at 12:15 p.m.

To wrap up the slate, the Dukes will stay in-state on Saturday, Oct. 15 to take on Virginia at 1 p.m. and Longwood at 3 p.m. at Longwood's Lancer Field.

The 2023 regular season schedule will be released later this year.
