QUICK HITS
- After a win in front of a season-best home crowd on Thursday, James Madison men's basketball looks to notch its fourth win in five games and climb up the Sun Belt Conference standings against ULM on Saturday at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
- At 5-4, the Dukes are tied with Troy, App State and Georgia Southern for fifth place in the SBC, two games behind co-leaders Southern Miss and Louisiana in the league table and just one game out of a coveted top-four position.
- Saturday will be the Dukes' fifth consecutive game against an opponent with an equal or better record in conference play.
- Redshirt senior Vado Morse scored 15 points in Thursday's win, marking the eighth time he has scored at least 15 points this season, including in three of his last four. JMU is 7-1 in games in which Morse has put at least 15 on the scoresheet.
- Against Coastal, JMU's 47 first-half points were its most in league play this year. The 50% first-half field goal performance was also the 21st time in 44 chances that the Dukes have shot at least 50% from the field in a single half.
- Redshirt sophomore Justin Amadi (.646) and graduate student Mezie Offurum (.627) currently sit inside the top 10 all-time in JMU history for field goal percentage in a single season.
- Heading into the weekend, JMU was one of just two teams in the conference with at least four double-digit scorers (Coastal Carolina). The Dukes' attack has been balanced, with at least four double-digit scorers in 15 of 22 games on the campaign.
