LEXINGTON, Ky. – James Madison earned a point against Kentucky in a 0-0 stalemate on Friday night at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.
The Dukes have drawn their past three games for an overall record of 4-2-5 with a 0-2-3 mark in Sun Belt play. Kentucky moved to 3-6-3 (0-3-2 SBC) and is winless in its last seven contests.
Sophomore Cameron Arnold and junior Balint Kocso both placed one shot on goal in the tie. Sophomore Sebastian Conlon stood tall on his line with a trio of saves.
How It Happened
"The positives to come out of tonight's match were we got a Sun Belt road point and we kept a shutout. We didn't create a ton on offense tonight, which was rare for our group, but we still did have two point blank chances we didn't convert in the first half. Credit to the guys for our defensive efforts as Kentucky is a tough place to play."
