WILMINGTON, N.C. - James Madison Women's Golf picked up its second win in three spring events on Wednesday, rolling to a 17-shot team victory and putting a pair of players inside the top five at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate, hosted at the par-71, 6,003-yard Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

The Dukes opened their week by posting the low score in the field on each of the first two days, then closed out the win in Wednesday's final round, posting 285-286-294 to finish at 13-over and atop the 17-team leaderboard. JMU has now finished first or second in each of its last four events in 2022-23.

Junior
Kendall Turner continued her remarkable run with runner-up honors on the 87-player leaderboard, carding rounds of 70-72-70 (-1) to finish alone in second two shots ahead of third place. Her first and third rounds were her 11th and 12th rounds of par or better already this season, just two off the program record.

The performance also marks her fourth straight top-three finish this season, a stretch that includes medalist honors at the Charlotte Invitational to cap the fall portion of the schedule. Her season scoring average of 72.58 is 0.66 shots ahead of her own school record of 73.24, set last season.

Senior
Kate Owens was just two shots behind Turner in a tie for third place, her third top-10 finish of the season. Owens carded 72-68-74 for the week, with her second round of 68 (-3) tying for the lowest round to par shot by a JMU golfer this season.

Freshman
Maria Atwood joined the pair inside the top 15, carding 72-69-78 on the week to tie for 14th (+6), matching her collegiate low in her second round.

Junior
Haley Quickel picked up her third straight top-20 finish, tying for 19th at 222 (+9) with rounds of 71-77-74, while sophomore
Kayleigh Reinke closed out the scoring in a tie for 57th (235 | 79-80-76).

The Dukes will be back in action to open next week, traveling to Ironwood Country Club in Greenville, N.C. to compete on April 3-4 in the ECU Ironwood Invitational - JMU's final event before the Sun Belt Championship on April 16-18.
