The Athletes Unlimited Softball, or AU, consists of 60 players, who are split into four teams that change every week with a draft. The top four players on the leaderboard each week serve as team captains and select their squads in a draft on the Monday prior to each week's games.
Â
Alexander, after being named captain, won her first six games leading a squad, including four shutout wins. The four shutouts are the most recorded by any captain in league history and she was the first captain to author a pair of shutouts in a single week.Â
