HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics has launched season ticket sales for the 2024 football season. High demand is anticipated after JMU hit capacity on season tickets at 8,718 in July prior to the 2023 season and the Dukes then set a program season attendance average record of 25,289.
Â
Season ticket holders from the 2023 season will have the option to renew their season tickets and parking in the same locations. Payment must be established by the May 15 priority deadline in order to maintain ticket and parking locations.
Â
Anyone wishing to purchase season tickets who did not have tickets for the 2023 season can join the wait list. Should any tickets remain available following renewals at the May 15 deadline, wait list requests will be filled according to Duke Club priority point ranking.
Â
More information about ticket locations and pricing and other important details are available at the official 2024 JMU football season ticket portal page.
Â
The 2024 season will usher in the Bob Chesney era for JMU football as he was named the program's ninth head coach on Dec. 7. It will also be JMU's first season after completing the two-year NCAA reclassification period to the FBS level, making the Dukes fully eligible for any postseason opportunities, including the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game, a bowl game and the new 12-team College Football Playoff.
Â
JMU went 11-2 in 2023, including 5-1 at home for the second straight season. The Dukes finished in first place in the Sun Belt Conference East Division for the second year in a row and earned the program's first bowl appearance in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. James Madison was the fourth team listed receiving votes outside the top 25 in the final AP Poll.
