Ryan Hanson Honored on Ray’s 8 by Ray Guy Award for Week Seven

AUGUSTA, Ga. – James Madison punter Ryan Hansonwas selected to Ray's 8 by the Ray Guy Award for his play during week seven of the college football season.
In JMU's 39-7 victory last Thursday against Coastal Carolina, Hanson averaged 48.8 yards per punt on five tries with a pair of boots over 50 yards. He had a season-long, 63-yard punt and pinned CCU inside the 20 four times. Hanson aided in Coastal Carolina's starting field position of its own 21, including the 18 in the first half.
This is the first weekly accolade for Hanson this season by the Ray Guy Award.
Hanson was honored alongside Hawaii's Lucas Borrow, Alabama's James Burnip, USC's Eddie Czaplicki, Pitt's Caleb Junko, Wake Forest's Ivan Mora, USF's Andrew Stokes and Cal's Lachlan Wilson.
