HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison football will host its 2024 Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 at Bridgeforth Stadium.

The Spring Game kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and admission is free for all spectators. Stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m. and parking and tailgating will be available beginning at 10 a.m. in Lots F, P and G, which are adjacent to the stadium. General parking is also available in the Champions Deck.

The game format will be determined closer to the event. The Dukes are set to begin its spring practice under new Head Coach Bob Chesney on March 21.

JMU just completed its reclassification to the Football Bowl Subdivision after turning in a combined 19-5 record in its first two seasons as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. JMU went 11-2 this past season, including 7-1 in Sun Belt play to finish atop the East Division for the second straight year.

The Dukes were selected to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl for their first trip to a bowl game last December. Beginning next season, JMU is eligible to compete and/or host the Sun Belt Championship Game, be ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings and be selected to the CFP playoffs should it earn a spot.

Also happening the weekend of the Spring Game is the 39th annual Duke Club Golf Classic, which will be held on Friday, April 19 at Spotswood Country Club. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 16 and more information about the event can be found at JMUDukeClub.com.

Season ticket renewals for JMU's 2024 football season are active now. Fans may visit JMUTickets.com or call 540-568-3853 to renew for next fall. The priority deadline for renewals is May 15.
