How It Happened
First Inning
Arkansas struck first on their third batter of the game. After a single and a throwing error allowed the first two batters to reach and get into scoring position, a single scored both for a 2-0 lead.
Third Inning
A single was utilized by the hosts to increase their lead to three, scoring a run with a two-out base hit to make the score 3-0.
Seventh Inning
After putting a pair of runners on, Arkansas caught a break when a would-be lineout double play ricocheted off of a runner's helmet. The ricochet allowed runners to advance to scoring position and a single would bring home a run to make it 4-0.
