Tyson Thomas announced the addition of former JMU standout
Kylie Moulin as an assistant coach with the women's tennis program.
Moulin joins the coaching ranks after a stellar career with the Dukes from 2019 to 2023. She finished her four-year career at JMU ranking in the top 10 of singles wins, doubles wins and combined wins.
She currently ranks seventh at JMU in career combined victories (131) while also ranking eighth in both singles wins (70) and doubles triumphs (61). She earned all-conference honors twice, as she was a 2023 First Team All-Sun Belt singles selection and a 2022 Second Team All-CAA singles pick. Moulin was also tabbed Virginia Sports Information Directors Second Team All-State in singles in each of her final two seasons.
Off the court, Moulin was named the 2022 ITA Cissie Leary Award for Sportsmanship (Atlantic Region) and won both the CAA Institutional Scholar-Athlete of the Year and CAA Leadership & Sport Excellence Award. A two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honoree, she was twice voted Casey Carter JMU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Moulin was also an ITA Scholar-Athlete each year of college, graduating with a 4.0 GPA in kinesiology, and she's currently pursuing a master's in exercise physiology from JMU.
