Dukes Close Out Second Day at Zones as Vitolo Advances to Finals

PRINCETON, N.J. – James Madison diver Kate Vitolo moved to the finals on the 3-meter board to highlight the second day of action at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Tuesday afternoon, hosted by Princeton at DeNunzio Pool.
Vitolo qualified to compete on Tuesday after recording a score of at least 280.00 during the season, as Alexa Holloway, Natalie Jones, Lexi Lehman and Maddie O'Mera all did as well.
The freshman finished 15th in the finals with a combined score of 527.20. She scored a 265.70 in prelims to be one of the 18 divers to advance to the finals.
Competing in the prelims as well, Holloway scored a 253.05, Lehman notched a 236.65, Jones recorded a score of 226.10 and O'Mera tallied a score of 193.60.
