The Macomb, Mich., native won the Comeback Player of the Year award and was a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy a season ago. A College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American, Dobbs is a two-time FCS All-American and Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year after amassing Holy Cross records in career tackles (432) and tackles for loss (46.5). He also has 22.5 sacks, four interceptions, four breakups, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.

Hanson enters his second season at JMU and the final campaign of his collegiate career as one of the nation's most prolific punters. He was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List for a record fifth time this year while also being recognized as College Football Network's Preseason National Punter of the Year and a Preseason First Team All-American.

The Elgin, Texas, native has appeared in 48 career games since 2020, posting a career 42.4 punt average with 80 of his 216 punts landing inside the 20 (37%) with only seven touchbacks. Hanson has 32 punts over 50 yards, including a long of 73 back in 2021. Nearly half of his punts landed inside the 20 (29/59) with two touchbacks in 2023.

The Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. It takes place on Feb. 1, 2025, at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama.
Â
JMU has had one player ever participate in the Senior Bowl, as former All-American cornerback
Jimmy Moreland played in the 2019 game before being drafted by Washington in the 2019 NFL Draft.
