HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head
Coach Sean O'Regan announced the signing of
Laura Molnárová for the 2024-25 season.
A native of Bratislava, Slovakia, Molnárová is a former national champion in the Hungarian First League, a two-time runner-up for National Youth Athlete of the Year and was a Division B MVP nominee at the FIBA U18 European Championship in summer 2023.
Molnárová will join transfers
Ro Scott (Marshall),
Zakiya Stephenson (Ole Miss) and
Bree Robinson (Michigan State), and freshmen
Alonna Poole and
Angela Williams for the upcoming campaign.

- 2021-22 Hungarian National Champion in Hungarian First League
- Team placed third at U16 Hungarian National Championship, and was named to All-Star Five
- Also played for Sopron Basket and Uni Gyor in EuroLeague
- Attended Gymnázium Imre Madácha in Šamorín, Slovakia
