ATLANTA – James Madison men's soccer and Georgia State both recorded a first half goal on Friday night, as the two teams would play to a 1-1 draw at the GSU Soccer Complex.
The Dukes moved to 1-7-2 (0-3-1 Sun Belt) while the Panthers moved to 3-3-5 (1-1-2 Sun Belt).

Diego Ossa helped pace the attack with a pair of shots. Sophomore
Erik Jaspers made a career-high-tying five saves in 90 minutes between the posts.
Quoting Head Coach Paul Zazenski
"The guys grinded out a point in the Sun Belt which is a positive. We had moments in transition that just didn't come off tonight, but overall we played hard and competed all 90."
How It Happened
- In the sixth minute, Lolas took a shot from the near sideline went untouched and ended in the back of the net for a 1-0 lead and his first career goal.
- Jaspers made stops in the 14th and 23rd minutes to keep the Panthers off the board.
- GSU broke free in the 37th minute with an equalizing goal.
- Graduate Aidan Melville had a late chance to put the Dukes ahead, but his 88th minute header went wide of the goal by inches.

- JMU was outshot 10-6 but held a 6-4 advantage on corner kicks.
