HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison women's soccer's unbeaten streak came to an end after dropping a match to South Alabama at Sentara Park, 2-0, in Friday night Sun Belt action.
The Dukes fall to 7-4-5 (3-2-3 SBC) on the campaign as the Jaguars improve to 9-3-2 (5-1-2 SBC). Sofia Mastracci was South Alabama's goal scorer, netting the first of her career. The JMU offense was led by
Jeanette Fieldsend and
Ginny Lackey with three and two shots apiece.
Lili White and
Sofia DeCerb split time in goal, playing the first and second halves, respectively. DeCerb made one save.
