HARRISONBURG, Va. – The field is set for the 2025 Mid-American Conference Field Hockey Championship, as fourth-seeded James Madison gets set to host the six-team, single-elimination tournament on Nov. 5-8 at the JMU Field Hockey Complex.
The Dukes wrapped up the regular season with an 11-7 overall record and a 6-3 mark in MAC play to finish fourth in the league standings. JMU opens up the postseason on Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the quarterfinals against fifth-seeded Central Michigan (9-8, 4-5 MAC) at 11:30 a.m.
The second quarterfinal features No. 3 seed App State (13-5, 7-2 MAC) against No. 6 seed Ohio (5-12, 3-6 MAC).
The 13th-ranked Miami (Ohio) RedHawks earned the top seed for the Championship after completing the regular season at 13-4 overall and 8-1 in MAC play, while No. 15 Massachusetts will be the No. 2 seed at 15-3 and 8-1.
