CLEVELAND – James Madison saw nine student-athletes honored on the 2025 Field Hockey Academic All-MAC Team, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.

To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.

Kent State and Massachusetts paced the conference with 13 selections each, followed by App State (11), Bellarmine (11), Central Michigan (11), Ball State (10), Miami (10), Ohio (10), JMU (9) and Longwood (7). The Dukes had seven players with a GPA of 3.5 or better.
