Alexa Holloway was named Diver of the Week and redshirt senior
Jess Pryne was tabbed as the Swimmer of the Week.

Holloway competed at the Virginia Tech Invitational over the past weekend while Pryne spent two days swimming at the Cavalier Invite.

The Spring, Texas native advanced to the finals on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards, as Holloway placed fourth with a score of 300.45 on the 1-meter and clinched eighth on the 3-meter with a score of 254.95. Holloway also was the top JMU scorer on the platform, scoring a 178.15. She now holds the team-high score on all three boards this season.

Pryne competed in four events during the two-day stay in Charlottesville, including the 100 Fly, 100 Back and 200 Breast on day two. She recorded a time of 2:00.97 in the 200 IM, increasing her conference-leading time in the event. She then recorded a time of 55.93 in the 100 Fly, a lifetime best time in the event for the Cornwall, N.Y. native.
