JMU WELCOMES BALL STATE FOR MAC-SBC CHALLENGE CLASH
- James Madison will welcome Ball State for the second leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 8. Tip time inside the Atlantic Union Bank is set for 2 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.
- Last time out, JMU knocked down 26-of-53 (.491) from the field and poured in 44 points in the paint to survive a second-half surge from South Alabama in a 76-62 win on Wednesday night.
- With the victory, Head Coach Sean O'Regan notched his 200th win at the helm of the program. O'Regan is the third coach in program history to reach 200 career wins, joining Kenny Brooks (337-122) and Shelia Moorman (302-134).
- James Madison owns four top-20 marks nationally: defensive rebounds per game (7th - 30.3), three-point percentage defense (8th - 24.7), rebounds per game (11th - 42.92) and field-goal percentage defense (20th - 36.1).
- Individually, Peyton McDaniel is second in the league in scoring (17.0 ppg) and field goal percentage (50.3,) and fifth in rebounds per game (8.3) in conference play. The guard is one of two Division I players averaging over 15.0 points and 8.0 rebounds while hitting 50-plus threes, with the other being Mia Jacobs of Fresno State.
- Ball State defeated Bowling Green 71-51 Wednesday night in Worthen Arena, marking the program's best start in Mid-American Conference play with an 11-0 record. Bischoff led all scorers with 20 points after going 6-of-10 (.600) from three-point range. Ally Becki scored 17 points while dishing out 10 assists. Richard also turned in a 17-point performance and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. Maliyah "MJ" Johnson came off the bench tallying 10 points.
- Becki ranks sixth in Division I in assists (142), eighth in assists per game (6.2) and is one of 17 players to record a triple-double this season, producing 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 95-66 win over Memphis on Nov. 13.
THE DUKES VS. THE MAC
- The Dukes are 8-4 (.667) all-time versus the Mid-American Conference and own perfect marks against Eastern Michigan (2-0), Ohio (2-0), Western Michigan (2-0) and Kent State (2-0). Buffalo boasts a 2-0 edge over JMU, while Toledo and Ball State both hold a 1-0 record versus the Dukes.
- The last time James Madison faced a MAC team, JMU held Kent State to 0-for-19 from three in a 67-56 season-opening win inside the M.A.C. Center on Nov. 4 for the first leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge.

- JMU is 48-19 (.716) since the Atlantic Union Bank Center opened up at the start of the 2020-21 season.
- The Dukes are 9-1 in its last 10 home contests, with the lone loss coming at the hands of No. 4 Texas (93-62, Dec. 8).
- James Madison finished 12-4 at home last season, the most home wins since the 2019-20 season when they went 14-1.
- Since 2000, the program has had three undefeated seasons at home: 2015-16 (14-0), 2006-07 (13-0) and 2005-06 (13-0). In that same time frame, the Dukes have had three seasons with 15 or more wins at home, 17 with a dozen or more, and 20 with 10 or more.

- James Madison came in at No. 7 in the CollegeInsider.Com Mid-Major Top 25 poll on Feb 4, the highest ranking for Head Coach Sean O'Regan's program in the 2024-25.
- The Dukes are 53rd in the latest NCAA Net Rankings through Feb. 6 games. James Madison's highest ranking since joining the Sun Belt Conference was 46th after games on Jan. 5, 2025. JMU is also the highest ranked team in the league, followed by Troy (103rd) and Coastal Carolina (120th).

Reserved Parking
- All parking pass holders — both Spot-Specific and Reserved — will enter through the North Entrance of the Ballard Parking Deck. For those entering through the North Entrance, all parking is reserved and first-come-first-serve. There will be no spot-specific parking available for doubleheaders.
General Parking
- Accessible via the South Entrance of the Ballard Parking Deck as well as the adjacent surface lots (C12, D3, and R4), general parking is available beginning two hours before game time. General parking is free of charge, available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
