JMU Cheer Set to Compete on the National Stage

James Madison Cheer is set to compete on the national stage, taking on the country's top programs in two Division I A categories for the 2026 Universal Cheerleaders Association College Nationals at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL.
The competition will take place from Jan. 16-18 inside the AdventHealth Arena.
Competing begins Friday, with semifinals at 9:54 a.m. and finals starting at 4:00 p.m. The weekend will continue with semifinals beginning on Saturday at 10:46 a.m., followed by the conclusion on Sunday, with finals starting at 5:10 p.m. JMU will compete in the Gameday Small Coed D1A and Traditional Small Coed D1A divisions.
All performances will be streamed live on Varsity TV.
