POINT CLEAR, Ala. – The James Madison women's golf team wrapped up its 2025-26 season with a 10
th-place finish at the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championship on Wednesday afternoon.

At the par-72, 6,164-yard Lakewood Club, JMU finished 10th out of 13 teams with a 54-hole tally of 904 (+40). The Dukes saved their best for last, going two-under over their final 12 holes to post their best score of the tournament at 295 (+7).

JMU's top individual finisher was freshman Klára Sionková, who tied for 25th with a three-round score of 223 (+7). It is Sionková's fifth top-25 finish of the season, carding rounds of 75-76-72.

Joining Sionková with an even-par 72 on Wednesday's final round was sophomore
Bella Flores, who tied for 30th with a three-round aggregate of 225 (+9). The native of Kingwood, Texas, rose seven spots on the 75-player leaderboard with her 72 on Wednesday, which was joined with rounds of 75 (+3) and 78 (+6) on Monday and Tuesday.

Grace Petzold finished her first season at JMU with a tie for 44th place, posting a score of 230 (+14). The native of Plymouth, Minn., recorded three rounds of 76-78-76. Freshman
Emerson Elm tied for 52nd in her championship debut, finishing her three rounds at 236 (+20) and with rounds of 79-79-78.

Maria Atwood completed her JMU career with a score of 82 (+10) in Monday's opening round before being replaced by
Avery Robinson, who delivered an even-par 72 on Tuesday and 75 (+3) on Wednesday as the Dukes' substitute player.
