NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – James Madison lacrosse has clocked in at No. 25 in the latest IWLCA Division I Coaches' Poll, as announced on Monday morning.
JMU holds steady in this week's rankings, also occupying the No. 25 spot last week.
The recognition comes on the hells of a week in which the Dukes took down Old Dominion, 14-9, to grab their fifth conference win of the season. The triumph caps a five-game winning streak to end the regular season for JMU.
James Madison remains the only team in the American Conference this season to receive a top 25 ranking. JMU leads the league in total points, assists per game, ground balls per game, and caused turnovers per game.
The Dukes will head to Nashville, Tenn. to take on No.3 seeded East Carolina in the semifinals of the 2026 American Women's Lacrosse Championship at FirstBank Stadium on Thursday, April 30. First draw is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
