2017 as a Redshirt Senior: Started 11 games at wide receiver... Third Team All-CAA Wide Receiver... Casey Carter Academic Achievement Award... Had 55 receptions for 710 yards and two touchdowns… Ranked eighth in the CAA in receptions and ninth in receiving yards... Eighth in JMU single-season history in receptions... Recorded two 100-yard games, with 113 yards at William & Mary (Oct. 21) and a season-high 117 in the FCS Quarterfinals against Weber State (Dec. 8)... Caught a career-best 10 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown in FCS Second Round versus Stony Brook (Dec. 2)... Also had a touchdown at Rhode Island (Nov. 4)... Tallied seven catches against Villanova (Oct. 14) and at W&M... Recorded at least 50 receiving yards in seven games... Had three or more catches in eight outings... JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete (Fall 2017).
2016 as a Redshirt Junior: Played in 13 games, making eight starts… Third Team All-CAA Wide Receiver... Had 39 receptions for 575 yards and five touchdowns… Ranked tied for sixth in the CAA in receiving touchdowns, eighth in receiving yards, ninth in receiving yards per game (44.2) and 10th in yards per catch (14.7)... Career highs of seven receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns in FCS Second Round win against New Hampshire (Dec. 3)… Turned in his first two-touchdown game in first meeting at UNH (Oct. 15)… Had six catches for 98 yards at Richmond (Nov. 5)… Also had four grabs for 95 yards at UNH, which included career-long 54-yard touchdown… Produced four receptions for 70 yards and his first career TD against Delaware (Oct. 1)… Seven games with at least three receptions and made at least one reception in 12 of 13 games... JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete (Fall 2016, Spring 2017).
Prior to JMU: Transferred to JMU after spending three seasons at Duke out of the ACC… Played in 17 career games, making eight receptions for 70 yards, as well as six tackles on defense… Had a Duke-best five catches for 45 yards, including a 15-yard reception, against Miami on Halloween in 2015… Part of Duke’s 2015 team that finished 8-5, capped off by an overtime win against Indiana in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Dade Christian… Associated Press First Team All-State as a senior… Helped Crusaders to three state playoff berths and 38-8 record in his four years with the team… Team finished 13-1 his senior season, advancing to the 2012 state championship game… Caught seven passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in the state championship… Finished career with 108 receptions for 1,856 yards and a 17.2 yards per catch average… Had 35 catches for 620 yards and three TDs while rushing 18 times for 211 yards and two scores as a senior… Also had nine punt returns for 93 yards and seven kick returns for 236 yards, including a 90-yard return for a touchdown… As a junior, caught 21 passes for 366 yards and six touchdowns… Recorded 30 receptions for 639 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore… Had 22 catches for 231 yards and three TDs as a freshman… Tri-sport athlete who lettered in basketball and track & field.
