2017 as a Redshirt Sophomore: Played in 13 games, making five starts at linebacker... Had 37 total tackles (20 solo), to go with one fumble recovery and one pass breakup... Career-high six tackles (four solo) at Delaware (Sept. 30)... Also had five stops at ECU (Sept. 2) and at Elon (Nov. 18)... Three or more tackles in seven games… Recorded first career fumble recovery against North Dakota State (Jan. 6) in NCAA Division I Football Championship game... JMU Athletic Director's Scholar Athlete (Fall 2016).
Prior to JMU: Transferred to JMU after spending two seasons at Maryland... Did not see action, retaining one year of eligibility, and has three years remaining... As a true freshman, named Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week prior to USF game and Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for Indiana game.
