Getting to know Margo Savage
Why did you choose JMU? I chose JMU because I loved the team and the girls seemed to have a lot of fun.
What are your goals for this year? I want to work as hard as I can and challenge the people in front of me and earn playing time.
What is your major/minor and why did you choose it? I am undecided as of now, but I think I want to be an Art minor.
What are your favorite things to do off the field? I love to hang out with my roommates and shop.
What is your favorite field hockey moment? My favorite would have to be when we beat UVA in overtime last year.
What is the best class you have taken at JMU? Probably GEIC because it was a class full of athletes and our professor Cannie Campbell was awesome.
Where is your favorite place you have visited and where would you like to visit? I really want to visit New Zealand.
What is something that most people do not know about you? I played was the starting place kicker for my high school football team.
What do you want to do after college? I want to travel all over the world.
What is your most prized possession? The picture of my family that is in my dorm room.
Where is your favorite place to eat on the campus of JMU? MRS. GREENS! I have it everyday for lunch.
Do you have any unique talents? I can do the worm.
What is the best advice you have received? It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, it matters how many times you get back up.
What advice would you give a prospective recruit? Find a school that you can call home.
