Prior to JMU:
High School:
- Played in all 13 games, making nine starts at safety
- Had 58 tackles (31 solo) to go with 2.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, one interception and four pass breakups
- Ranked tied for 19th in the FBS and tied for second in the Sun Belt in fumble recoveries
- Career-high nine tackles vs. Gardner-Webb (Sept. 7)
- Had six tackles with 1.0 TFL and an interception at Old Dominion (Nov. 16)
- Also made six stops, including five solo and a PBU vs. Western Kentucky in Boca Raton Bowl (Dec. 18)
- Had five tackles and a half TFL at ULM (Oct. 5)
