Jeff Bell joined the James Madison men's basketball staff prior to the 2019-20 season after serving the program as a manager for three years before his graduation.
After tranferring to JMU from SUNY Oswego, Bell immediately began working with the program beginning with Head Coach Louis Rowe's inaugural year leading the program. He distinguished himself quickly, being tabbed for the head manager position as a senior in 2018-19 before earning his degree from JMU in 2019.
Bell was an office and operations intern with Hoop Group in both 2018 and the summer of 2019 before returning to JMU to pursue his masters and continue contributing to the program as video coordinator.
He hails from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where he was both a graduate and summer league coach at Spackenkill High School.
