- Missed the first two games of the season with a foot injury, but has played in all 26Â games with 25Â starts since returning
- Put together a monster 23-point, 15-rebound double-double in 28 minutes against Marshall
- Scored a career-high 26 points on 13 of 19 shooting against Northeastern on Feb. 18
- Has five double-double performances on the season including three in a five game span from Feb. 4 through Feb. 18. Â
- Ranks first on the Dukes with 6.8Â rebounds per game, while providing 9.3Â points per game through March 15, 2016
- Also leads the Dukes in blocks with 1.3 per game, which is good for second overall in the CAA
- Leads all Dukes in field goal percentage and ranks fourth overall in the CAA (among players with at least 50 attempts) at 54.2% through March 15, 2016
2014-15 as a Sophomore:
- Third Team All-CAA
- CAA All-Defensive Team, the first member from JMU in 20 years
- Started all 33 games for JMU as a sophomore, averaging 25.2 minutes per game
- Finished the year averaging 11.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game
- Shot 57.8 percent (137-237) on field goals and 67.3 percent (101-150) on free throws
- Posted 20 double-digit scoring efforts and 14 performances with six rebounds or more
- Scored at least three points in every contest
- Led CAA play with a 60.3 field goal percentage and 1.3 blocks per game
- Career-high 21 points against College of Charleston (Feb. 22)
- Notched first career double-doubles with 10 points, 10 boards against Campbell (12/2) and 14 points, 10 boards against Delaware (2/10)

2013-2014 as a Freshman:
- Finished the season averaging 11.7 minutes per game to go with averages of 2.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.54 blocks in addition to a field goal percentage of .463
- Recorded one game of ten or more points and one game of eight or more rebounds
- Six rebounds and two blocks in JMU debut at Virginia
- First collegiate points with two free throws vs. Milwaukee
- Career high of seven points in Towson road loss
- Had 33 total season points before breaking through with JMU's third double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds in 26 minutes at Delaware. Was 5-for-9 from the field and 5-for-5 at the foul line
- Seven points in home win over UNCW to cap CAA Rookie of the Week set of three games
Before College:
- Played for head coach Gregg Downer and Lower Merion High School
- Led the Aces to a 30-3 record and the PIAA Class AAAA state title after averaging 11.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.1 blocks as a senior
- Collected 10 points and seven boards in Hershey’s Giant Center in 63-47 state title upset of Chester, halting the Clippers’ streak of 78 straight wins vs. Pennsylvania foes
- Lower Merion’s state title was the program’s second since Kobe Bryant led the Aces in 1996 (also 2006)
- Averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4.9 blocks during Lower Merion’s playoff run
- Second Team All-State and All-Southeastern Pa.
- First Team All-Central League and First Team All-Main Line
- Standout senior performances included 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks to earn MVP honors of the Cancer Research Classic (W. Va.), tournament MVP honors at the Kobe Bryant Classic with 29 points, 29 boards and 12 blocks as well as career highs of 28 points and 18 rebounds in a Feb. 4 win over Radnor
- First career basketball start came as a high school junior with 17 points and 10 rebounds in PIAA round of 16 in 2012 state playoffs
- Spent entire life as a soccer player until the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, when he moved to Philadelphia and picked up a basketball for the first time

- Son of Cassandra Derrosiers
- Half-brother of Samuel Dalembert, who will begin his 13th NBA season in 2014-15 with his sixth different team, the New York Knicks.
- Samuel Dalembert was a member of the Philadelphia 76ers when the 2010 Haiti Earthquake occurred, prompting him to aid Yohanny and sister Severine to relocate to Philadelphia.
