Ally Henchy joined the Duke Club as an Athletics Development Officer on August 23^rd, 2021. In this role she is responsible for assisting with external fundraising efforts to grow the overall support through annual giving and major gift opportunities like capital projects and planned giving.

Prior to arriving in Harrisonburg, Ally was in field medical sales for Abbott Nutrition in the Greater Washington D.C. area. There, Ally was responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with Providers, clinical education of Abbott Nutritional products and growing retail share.

Ally is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a Division I student-athlete on the cheerleading team. She received her undergraduate degree in Strategic Communication. Ally interned for the Alumni Association as well as Advancement for the Office of Student Life where she designed, planned and executed several donor events.

Ally and her husband, Michael (Associate Head Coach for JMU Women’s Volleyball) met while they were undergraduate student-athletes at The Ohio State University. In her spare time, she teaches yoga, rides her Peloton bike and takes their Golden Retriever, Scout, everywhere she can.
