Steve Secord announced the men's tennis program's spring dual-match schedule, which features 21 matches, including seven at home.
The Dukes will compete against four Sun Belt Conference opponents during the spring slate while two thirds of the full schedule will be played regionally in either Virginia or North Carolina.
JMU opens the spring with a four-match road trip, opening the campaign at Duke (Jan. 18). After a single bout at Elon (Jan. 24), the Dukes head to the Bluegrass State to face Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 7) and Bellarmine (Feb. 8).
The Dukes open the home portion of their schedule with four straight in Harrisonburg, as it welcomes South Alabama (Feb. 13), Washington & Lee (Feb. 14), Hampton (Feb. 20) and Longwood (Feb. 22) to town over consecutive weekends.
The next seven will be away from home, as JMU travels to UNCG (Feb. 27) and Campbell (Feb. 28) before trekking to the capital for matches at Richmond (Mar. 6) and Furman (Mar. 7). Spring Break will take the Dukes south, as it will meet Stetson (Mar. 15), North Florida (Mar. 17) and Georgia Southern (Mar. 20).
JMU is back home for a pair after a month away, hosting Navy (Mar. 22) and UNC Asheville (Mar. 28). The next three are on the road at Coastal Carolina (Apr. 3), versus Georgia State (Apr. 4) at CCU and at William & Mary (Apr. 11) before coming home to match up with George Mason (Apr. 12) for Senior Day.
The Sun Belt Men's Tennis Championship will take place April 16-19 at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga.
