Tasia Butler joined the Dukes as a Graduate Assistant Manager for the 2018-19 season.
Butler played in 97 games for JMU while starting 57 over her three seasons, after transferring from Syracuse.
She recorded her first double-double against Liberty with 16 points and 10 rebounds on November 15, 2016. Butler led the team in offensive rebounds following the 2016-17 season.
Butler finished her years in the Purple and Gold averaging 3.7 rebounds per game, 3.5 points per game and a .438 shooting percentage.
She earned her bachelors degree in Public Policy and Administration in the spring of 2017 at James Madison. Butler is currently pursuing her master's degree in public administration.
