Regina Walton enters her first season as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball program for the 2026-27 season.
In 2025-26, Walton wrapped up her collegiate career in Harrisonburg where she made 25 appearances with one start. The guard tallied 20 assists, including dishing out four helpers in JMU’s win over South Alabama in the Sun Belt Quarterfinals. At the conclusion of the season, Walton was honored with the team’s Hard Hat Award at the JMA’s – presented to the student-athlete who demonstrates commitment, integrity, and selflessness to their teammates by setting the gold standard for the team.

The Capitol Heights, Md. native made her way to James Madison for her senior season following three years at Elon. In total, Walton has appeared in 102 career games, logging over 1,300 minutes of game action, and tallying 117 assists.
